Before joining the development staff for the School of Social Work and University development, Liz Cooper began her career as the Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Affairs at West Nottingham Academy, a college preparatory school in Northern Maryland with approximately 180 students. She then became Director of Parent Relations and Giving at Gilman School, a boys college preparatory school in Baltimore of approximately 900 students, where she stayed for three years. She moved into the Campaign Operations Manager position in which she was responsible for the day-to-day management of Gilman’s $50 million capital campaign. In addition, for five years she served as Fundraising Class Chair for her high school.

Joelleen Yerace

Joelleen Yerace joined the School of Information Sciences as the Director of Constituent Relations in July 2008. In her current role, Joelleen manages the alumni relations program and development efforts for SIS. Joelleen previously served as both a Major Gift and Principal Gift Associate at the University of Pittsburgh’s Office of Institutional Advancement. Prior to her employment at the University of Pittsburgh, Joelleen worked in the Office of Financial Aid at Allegheny College, and the Business & Finance Group at the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Joelleen earned her B.A. in Political Science from Allegheny College and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Higher Education Administration at Pitt's School of Education.
