Honor Roll of Donors

While I often have the pleasant task of extending thanks to University of Pittsburgh alumni and friends whose generous contributions are helping ensure that we will reach our capital campaign goal to raise $2 billion, I don’t usually have the opportunity to name them. I am, therefore, very pleased to share the 2011 Honor Roll of Donors – a list of the donors who made a gift at the Chancellor’s Circle level ($1,000 or more) to the University of Pittsburgh from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.
We are especially excited to be publishing the honor roll lists this year, as it is the first time we are able to showcase donors who are now members of the Babcock Society, a new giving society for Chancellor's Circle donors who make annual gifts for five or more consecutive years.
Also included in this list are young alumni donors who made a gift of $500 or more to the University of Pittsburgh as members of the GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Circle, as well as 1787 Society members—those donors who have made or intended a planned or deferred gift to the University through a bequest, annuity, trust, life insurance policy, or other planned or deferred gift opportunity.
Once again, thank you to the remarkable number of donors who are supporting the University, its students and faculty. We are very grateful for your contribution to helping build Pitt’s future.
Hail to Pitt!
Albert J. Novak Jr.
Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement
