Preserving Our Architectural Treasures Campaign
For 70 years, the Cathedral has symbolized the pursuit of higher learning and the achievements possible through education, research and public service. This renovation project, which began on February 28, 2007, will help ensure that the Cathedral of Learning remains a permanent source of inspiration for future generations.
African American Alumni Council Campaign
The African American Alumni Council’s scholarship program currently consists of: the Bebe Moore Campbell Scholarship Fund, the Jack L. Daniel Endowed Book Award and the AAAC Endowed Scholarship Fund.
G. Alec Stewart Endowed Student Research Fund
G. Alec Stewart was known for working tirelessly on behalf of his students' achievements and equipping them with the intellectual firepower to win record numbers of national and international awards. To date, under his and his team's guidance, Pitt students have won six Rhodes Scholarships, nine Marshall Scholarships, 42 Goldwater Scholarships, 11 Truman Scholarships, and five Udall Scholarships, as well as Churchill and Gates Cambridge scholarships.
